Elie Saab never ceases to amaze me. He is the king of couture! What I love about this collection is the fact that the silhouettes used were very simple. There was a rampant display of the A – line silhouette, drapes, corseted body hugging frames etc but what seemed to be his main focus here was the embellishments, embroidery and details which included sequins, stones and crystals.

The colors used was inspired by royal stones like sapphire, ruby, emerald and so much more. If you are an Elie Saab, you would know that this genius is also very fond of the monochromatic look on the runway and he didn’t fail to use this trend this time. He loves pairing red dresses with red shoes, green dresses with green shoes and this may be hard to pull off but he sure does make it look like a piece of cake…
